About the Role

This is an exciting new opportunity within the Group Communications team of a leading global transport operator. The role focuses on internal communications, connecting employees across international markets and bringing to life the human stories that underpin the organisation’s purpose.

You’ll play a key role in driving employee engagement, shaping leadership communications, and supporting major change initiatives, including a new UK CEO and CPO transition. The work is hands-on, fast-paced, and highly visible, engaging everyone from bus drivers and engineers to head office teams and senior executives.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in internal communications and employee engagement, 

  • Strong storytelling skills - able to translate corporate updates into engaging, human-led narratives

  • Comfortable operating with pace and autonomy in a fast-moving environment

  • Strong stakeholder management, including senior leadership communications experience

  • Ability to adapt tone and content for diverse audiences, from executives to frontline staff

  • Confident navigating change and transformation projects

Desirable:

  • Experience building or scaling internal comms frameworks from the ground up.

  • Experience working in large, complex, or multi-site organisations, ideally with a public-facing or operational workforce

Salary: Up to £60k.
