About the Role

An established communications consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Public Affairs Consultant to join its growing team. This is a client-facing role, leading major accounts, providing strategic public affairs advice, and managing junior colleagues. The successful candidate will work across a portfolio of high-profile clients spanning sectors including telecoms, transport and other regulated industries.

A leading integrated communications consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering strategic public affairs and corporate communications advice to major organisations. The team is looking to strengthen its senior public affairs capability.

Key Requirements

  • Around 6–7 years' public affairs experience, ideally within an agency environment.

  • Strong Labour Party connectivity and understanding of the UK political landscape.

  • Experience leading client accounts and acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.

  • Previous line management or mentoring experience.

  • A collaborative, commercially minded approach with the ability to work across multidisciplinary team
